The Morris Minor Owners Club (MMOC) was founded in 1976 by enthusiast Tom Newton and 50 others at the Queensway Public House in Scunthorpe. This was only six years after Morris Minor production ceased.

In the 1980’s the MMOC acquired and paid outright for premises on an industrial estate in the centre of Derby where the National Club is to day.

From then until 2003 there was no local branch until Mike Greenwood formed the North Lincs Morris Minor Owners Club in July 2003. Over the years the club has been located in a number of locations. We are now at the Millfield, just outside Brigg.

About Us

During the life of the club we have held rallies at the Standtoft Trolley Bus Museum and other sites. We presently hold our Rallies at the Waters Edge Visitor Centre, Barton upon Humber.

We have had an attendance of over 107 cars with their enthusiastic owners who shared their passion with the public at the Waters Edge Visitor Centre. The NLMMOC also collects for a charities at our rally’s. This has allowed us to support the following charities:- Lupus, Royal Poppy Appeal, Renal Unit, Macmillan, Air Ambulance, Help the Heroes, Armed Forces Day, Prostrate Cancer, Stroke Accionation; Jerry Greens Dogs Home. In 2022 we raised a £1000 for Lindsey Lodge Hospice.

If you are passionate about the Morris Minor or any other Classic car we look forward to meeting you. We have members who may be in a position to answer your queries or guidance with repairs / restoration.

Please come along and give us a try.

Our members range from 18 yrs to in their seventies.

All are welcome.
